Attorney Sebrina L. Martin

Ms. Martin has dedicated her legal career to family and juvenile law, which has transformed into her specialty. Before entering into private practice, she had clerked for the Honorable Judge T.R. Bailey and was able to gain a vast understanding for all areas of law. Ms. Martin has the experience and the compassion to expertly handle any  case, and as someone with personal experience with family law matters, she strives to give care and attention to each individual client and their situation. Ms. Martin is a Faulkner University graduate with her J.D. and has earned a Certificate in Mediation.

Attorney Jesse C. Heifner

Jesse is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in political science and a juris doctorate from Faulkner Law.  After graduating law school, he settled into private practice in Montgomery.

Jesse has numerous practice areas, as he serves as everything from general counsel for charitable organizations to administrative hearing officer for government entities.  His trust planning work is something he is particularly proud of; as he enjoys helping people with long term planning for their spouse, children, grandchildren, business, or even their pets.

Jesse is member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the Alabama State Bar, the Montgomery County Bar Association, and is a admitted to practice in federal court.  In addition to his work with numerous local organizations, he "relaxes" by officiating high school and college football.

Our Staff

Tara Rose

After her career in the military, Mrs. Rose began her legal career working with Ms. Martin in 2016 as in intern and is now the Office Manager. She ensures the smooth operation of the firm with her extensive knowledge of office management and her efficient process management skills.  She provides support to the attorneys by handling new client consultations and assists in all aspects the case.

She is experienced in Family Law with an affinity for military family issues and Veteran's claims.   She entered into her legal career a caring, and compassionate person and her experience has provided her with the knowledge to excel on any case. Mrs. Rose is a Faulkner University graduate with her J.D. and has earned a Certificate in Mediation.

Katherine Tornow

Katherine received her Associates in Paralegal studies from South University in 2005 and has over 5 years of paralegal experience and over 12 years experience in administrative assistance.  She joined our team in 2018 as the senior paralegal. 


Katherine assists with all probate matters and trial preparation.  

Michelle Bailey

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Criminal Justice from the University of North Alabama and has over 10 years of paralegal experience.   She joined our team in 2018 as a Paralegal.  


Michelle assists in all aspects of file management and brings to our firm a broad range of experience.
